Over the years I've tried numerours tools to keep my gear organised and make getting away easier, but none were as effortless as I liked. I want a tool that was easy and fun, a place where I could work on making my trip ideas a reality.

I half jokingly shared my idea for an app with friend Paul Mosedale, a talented developer, and before long we were working on the Beta version. It's been a long journey since that discussion, but the Adventure Curated app is now something I'm extremely proud of. It remains family owned, developed in Perth, Western Australia, and free of advertising.

I hope you find the app a place were you can nurture your trip ideas and that it helps you embark on trips with a feeling of confidence that comes from knowing that you have packed everything you need and nothing you don't.

    » Similar to the trip gear function, simply add the food, water and fuel you'll need for each trip based on duration and factors like water availability and weather.

    » All items can then be allocated to a particular hiker in your family to share the load and these items will show in the consumable section of each pack in the final packing list.

  • PACKING LIST

    » The packing list is the place to easily double check that you have everything you need and nothing you don't!

    » If more than one member of your family is hiking the packing list will show each hiker's pack separately.

    » Each hiker's pack weight is shown including the base weight, consumables weight and total.

    » Gear that you have marked as wear are also listed but these are separated from your pack's total weight.

    » You can also see the status for each gear item - green (ready), orange (repair) and red (buy) to make it easy to avoid last minute errands.
